Outside Service Project - CARITAS @ Shady Grove United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 16th from 7-8pm
CARITAS helps to break the cycles of homelessness and addiction in the Metro Richmond area so that people can lead stable lives. Shady Grove is housing the homeless from December 12th-December 19th.  We will participate on the 15th by producing life drawings for these individuals.  Learn more about CARITAS.

In-house Service Project - Atlee's Library - January
We will be creating an installation piece in the Atlee library.
You may use your Art Guild time to work on this assignment and your component must be complete by our January 7th meeting.
Begin sketching on Oct 1st and during your own time.
​Painting will occur Dec 3rd & Jan 7th. They are DUE January 21st. We will provide you with all the materials.

Choose a well-known characters from any novel. You will depict only the character's EYES. Make sure you choose a specific EXPRESSION of the character. You will sketch out your drawing on a 3'' x 8'' piece of paper and then transfer it onto wood. Then, paint it!! 
A suggested list is provided below:
